DR. NASIRU YUSUF GAWNA SWORN IN AS CHAIRMAN OF NIGERIA’S FEDERAL MORTGAGE BANK COMMITTEE

His Excellency, Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, former Deputy Governor of Kano State and the incoming Governor of Kano State in 2027 (by the grace of Allah), has officially been sworn in as the Chairman of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria’s (FMBN) High-Level Committee.
The historic swearing-in ceremony was presided over by the Honorable Minister of Housing and Urban Development of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Hon. Ahmed Musa Dan Giwa, who formally inaugurated Dr. Gawuna into his new role.
The event took place at Dr. Gawuna’s office in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, where he was joined by a delegation of supporters, political associates, and well-wishers from Kano State and residents of Abuja.
In his new capacity, Dr. Gawuna is expected to lead strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s mortgage and housing finance sector, ensuring greater access to affordable housing for citizens across the country.
