Kano State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to enhance Tuberculosis and Leprosy services in the State.
The Director General Kano State Primary Health Care Management Board Dr. Nasir Mahmud made this known while receiving members of the 44 Local Government TB and Leprosy Supervisors forum who paid him a courtesy visit in his office.
Dr. Nasir said, the present administration is highly committed toward the provision of necessary facilities that will enhance health care services at all the primary health care centres in the state.
He commended the forum members for the visit and urged them to be dedicated and committed toward the eradication of the disease in the state.
Earlier in his remarks, the Chairman of the forum, Malam Dahiru Abdulkadir Commended the contribution of the Director General Dr. Nasir Mahmud for his immense contribution toward the eradication of tuberculosis and leprosy disease while serving as Coordinator of the state TB and Leprosy centres in the state.
The forum Chairman therefore solicited for the support and assistance of the Board for the successful supervision at their respective local government areas.
