PARTY STABILITY AND UNITY: Like Tinubu/Shettima, So Gawuna/Garo 2027, God Willing, in Kano State*

As we navigate the complex landscape of Nigerian politics, it’s essential to draw inspiration from successful models. The All Progressives Congress (APC) has demonstrated remarkable stability at the national level with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as its sole candidate. This unity has been a cornerstone of the party’s success. We must replicate this model at the state level to ensure continuity and progress.

In Kano State, His Excellency, Dr. Nasiru Yusif Gawuna, and His Excellency, Honourable Murtala Sule Garo, have proven themselves to be capable leaders. They should remain the APC gubernatorial and deputy gubernatorial candidates come 2027, Insha’Allah. This consistency will enable the party to build on existing momentum and maintain stability.

Furthermore, all other political office holders, including our Senators, House of Representatives, and State Assembly members, should maintain their offices too. This will ensure that the party’s gains are consolidated and that we avoid unnecessary disruptions. By doing so, we can maintain party stability and unity, which are essential for our collective success.

A notable example is the NNPP Gubernatorial Candidate, Alhaji Abba Kabir, who contested both in 2019 and 2023 and won the election after contesting for the second time. This example illustrates the importance of perseverance and consistency in politics. Let’s maintain the status quo if we really want stability, unity, and success. For indeed power and authority belong to Allah Subhanahu Wata Ala.
