Rep Member Sada Soli Jibia Awards Scholarships to 40 Katsina Students for Masters, PhD Studies

Hon. Sada Soli Jibia, a member of the House of Representatives representing Jibia/Kaita Federal Constituency, has awarded scholarships to 40 university graduates for Master’s and Doctorate (PhD) degree programs under his 2024/2025 educational initiative.
The beneficiaries received cash assistance, computers, and full coverage of registration fees to support their academic pursuits. The scholarship recipients were selected through a merit-based process by a committee set up by the lawmaker’s constituency office.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Soli, represented by his legislative aide Kabir Mashe, reiterated his commitment to serving his constituents and addressing their needs. He assured that his office remains open to feedback and complaints to ensure effective representation.
Sulaiman Bello, Secretary of the Scholarship Selection Committee, praised the lawmaker’s gesture and urged beneficiaries to utilize the opportunity responsibly. He emphasized that the selection process was transparent, without interference from political influences.
The occasion also saw remarks from APC Katsina Vice Zonal Chairman Idris Asasanta, who urged elected officials to prioritize social amenities for the people. Similarly, Jibia Local Government Chairman Sirajo Ado hailed the initiative as unprecedented and announced a ₦10 million empowerment fund for party members in the area.
Scholarship recipients Sagir Danladi and Rabiatu Sada expressed gratitude, calling for the program’s continuation to benefit more students.
This initiative underscores Hon. Soli’s dedication to education and youth empowerment in Katsina State.
