DEPOWA College Project: A Commitment to Nation-Building, Says Minister Badaru
The Honourable Minister of Defence, H.E. Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, has emphasized that the proposed Defence and Police Officers’ Wives Association (DEPOWA) College Project reflects the unwavering dedication of military and police families to national development. The Minister made these remarks during the project’s groundbreaking and fundraising ceremony held in Abuja, where he praised DEPOWA for its visionary leadership in driving this transformative initiative.
In his keynote address, Minister Badaru hailed the occasion as a historic milestone,“ Today marks a proud and pivotal moment as we gather for the groundbreaking and fundraising of the DEPOWA College Project. This initiative stands as a testament to the enduring commitment of our military and police families to nation-building. I applaud DEPOWA for its foresight and determination in bringing this noble vision to life.”
Stressing the critical role of education, the Minister stated, “Education remains the cornerstone of societal advancement. This college will serve as a beacon of hope, excellence, and opportunity for the children of our courageous service members.
