The Chairperson of the Kano State Civil Service Commission (CSC), alongside two Permanent Commissioners, has officially assumed office following their appointments by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf.
The Chairperson, Hajiya Ladidi Ibrahim Garko, who is the former commissioner of Tourism and Culture, expressed gratitude for the confidence reposed in her and pledged to work diligently alongside the Permanent Commissioners and staff of the commission to uphold the standards and ethics of the civil service.
She reaffirmed her commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and addressing challenges affecting civil servants in Kano State.
She assured the state government and people of Kano of her resolve to uphold the principles of good governance, meritocracy, and excellence in service.
In their separate remarks, the Permanent Commissioner I, Alhaji Abdullahi Mahmud and Permanent Commissioner II, Alhaji Ado Muhammad Danbatta, also pledged their dedication to the goals of the Commission and assured of their determination to enhance the efficiency and welfare of the state’s workforce.
Speaking on behalf of the staff of the commission, the permanent secretary, Alhaji Sani Shehu Minjibir congratulated the new Chairperson and the Permanent Commissioners and reaffirmed the unwavering support of the entire workforce in ensuring the success of the commission’s mandate. He assured the leadership of their commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and dedication in delivering on the Commission’s goals.
