Ungogo Local Government has emerged as the top performer in malaria control among ten local government in the State.
The Chairman, Alhaji Tijjani Amiru Bilyaminu, received the award, attributing the success to the local administration’s commitment to prioritizing healthcare delivery.
Alhaji Tijjani Amiru Bilyaminu commended the Kano State Ministry of Health for its efforts in supporting primary healthcare services in the area.
The Chairman assured that the local administration will continue to support healthcare initiatives, ensuring the well-being of the community.
Isa Aminu Kofar Nassarwa,The Head of Primary Healthcare Coordinator department in the area, and Sani Haruna Minjibir, Malaria Control Officer, praised the teamwork and dedication of staff, promising to maintain the momentum in malaria control efforts.
