Politics is a complex and multifaceted concept that extends beyond governmental affairs. At its core, politics is about power; the means through which power is acquired, exercised, and maintained. It’s the interplay of power that shapes the structure of societies and influences the behavior of individuals within those societies. As Sir Harold Lasswell defines it, politics is essentially “who gets what, when, how.” This definition encompasses the idea that politics involves making decisions that affect people collectively, and that these decisions are often influenced by power dynamics.
With this understanding of politics in mind, let’s examine the mutual respect and cooperation between His Excellency, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and Distinguished Senator Barau I Jibril, and its implications for the APC in Kano State and Nigeria.
The mutual respect and cooperation between Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Senator Barau I Jibril, the Deputy Senate President, is a significant development that has the potential to strengthen the APC’s position in Kano State and Nigeria.
Dr. Ganduje, a household name in Nigerian politics, has a deep understanding of the complexities of Nigerian politics. His experience in governance and politics has equipped him with the skills to build relationships, negotiate, and strategize.
As the National Chairman of the APC, Ganduje is poised to lead the party to victory. His cooperation with Senator Jibril, a respected politician and key player in the APC, is built on mutual respect, trust, and a shared commitment to the APC’s ideals.

Similarly, Senator Barau I Jibril has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills as Deputy Senate President, promoting unity and stability in the Senate. His experience and expertise will be invaluable in supporting Dr. Ganduje’s efforts to strengthen the APC.

When the two unite, I foresee victory for APC in Kano State and Nigeria, God willing. Both are excellent political players when it comes to the game of politics, and their political profiles have been rising steadily since 1999.
Dr. Ganduje as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress and Senator Jibril as Deputy Senate President, are well-positioned to lead the party to victory.
