Member representing Dala Federal Constituency and Deputy Minority Leader, has yesterday, Friday launched his fully funded scholarship program, benefiting over 1,000 students from Dala Local Government.
The program, aimed at enhancing the capacity of the health sector and improving other professions, has allocated over N51 million. Speaking at the flag-off ceremony at Down Waterfall Event Center, Sharada Quarters, Kano, Rep. Madaki emphasized the importance of education in society and advised beneficiaries to make judicious use of their time during the program and become good ambassadors of Dala Local Government and Kano State.
During the program, uniforms, writing materials, and working materials and other items were distributed to students and schools to create a conducive study atmosphere. The scholarship program covers primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions.
In his remarks, District Head of Dala Local Government, Alh. Abdullahi Lamido Sunusi, expressed gratitude to Rep. Madaki for his unwavering support and commitments towards the development of Dala Local Government. Similarly malam Hamisu Aliyu Umar who spoken on behalf of the community leaders has thanked the committee for their unbiased selection process and Rep. Madaki for sponsoring their children to studies fully.
Speaking also on behalf of the beneficiaries Firdausi Nuhu from Gobirawa ward a student from Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology who spoken on behalf of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude and sincerely appreciated on how the scholarship committee work unbiased and prayed to Almighty to continue guide and protect madaki from all evil eyes.
The occasion was graced by notable dignitaries, including District Heads, Ward Heads, Chief Imams, Community Leaders, Students’ Unions, and Heads of Federal Government Parastatals from the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health.
