Kano State Commissioner of information and Internal Affairs, Baba Halilu Dantiye has charged staff of the Ministry to be punctual and adhere to the civil service rules and regulations.
In a statement signed by Malam Sani Abba Yola Director Special Duties Ministry of Information stated that, the Commissioner gave the charge during a maiden meeting with management staff of the Ministry in his office.
Baba Dantiye tasked them to be diligent be alive to their duty in order to attain vision of the state government.
He added that the present admiration under the leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusif would not tolerate any act of absenteeism and lateness to duty.
He also reaffirmmed the commitment of the present admiration in the state to ensure the promotion of staff welfare to enhance productivity
Inspecting the various departments and units of the Ministry, the Commissioner urged the staff to always maintain a clean environment and adhere to proper sanitary regulations.
The Commissioner, who was conducted round by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Alhaji Sani Bashir Yola, assessed the offices and places that need to be rehabilitated by the state government to ensuring enabling working environment.
