The move for upward review of monthly Hisbah Corps monthly wage allowance by the state house of assembly has been described as well deserved and commendable.
This was stated by the state Hisbah Commander General Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa when he heard the motion passed by the member representing Minjibir local government Alh. Abdul Abdulhamid.
In a statement signed by the Director Public Enlightenment of the Hisbah Board Auwal Ado Sheshe said, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa expressed delight for the motion and said when the bill accented it would improve the lives of Hisbah Corps as well as enhancing service delivery.
He added that, the current market realities made it necessary to review the Corps monthly wage allowance by the state house of assembly.
The Commander General extended gratitude and commendation to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, Speaker Alhaji Jibrin Isma’ila Falgore and members of house of assembly for their visionary ideas to review Corps wage allowance as well as amendment of 2007 Hisbah principal laws.
While speaking, the Director General Mallam Abba Sa’id Sufi appreciated with the move by the state house of assembly adding the assembly proposing to make to the upward review of Hisbah monthly wage allowance not converting the Corps permanent and pensionable staff.
Mal. Abba Sa’id Sufi commended the members of state house of assembly and present administration for commitment to put succour to Hisbah staff.
He enjoined them to reciprocate the gesture by redouble their efforts in discharging civil responsibilities of enjoining the good deeds and prohibiting the bad deeds.
