The ongoing efforts of the Kano State government towards ensuring adequate water supply to the State had been commended.
The Chairman House Committee on Water Resources of the State House of Assembly and member representing Albasu Constituency, Hon. Musa Tahir Hungu stated this while fielding questions from journalists, stressing that the committee paid visits to some water treatment centers across the State to ascertain the level of their performances.
Hon Musa Tahir said the visitation avails the committee to asses and identify the needs of the treatment centers as well as their daily capacities.
He further high lights that very soon the State government would address the issue of water scarcity and called on the staff managing the treatment plants to be steadfast in the discharge of their responsibilities.
Hon Musa Tahir Hungu then assured the general publics that the committee would continue to work round the clock to ensure that perennial water scarcity in Kano is over.
Hungu then called on the people of the State to rally round the present administration for the execution of more meaningful projects across the State.
