The identification was made by the Commander of the Nigeria Hunters and Forest Service, Kano State Command,Alhaji Abdullahi Al-Ameen in a chat with media personalities, stressing that Kano Command would continue to sensitize the People of the State on the exceptional role of hunters in the society with a view to ensure a modest environment.
The State Commander further reiterated the determination of the Nigeria Hunters and Forest Service in collaborating with all relevant Security Agencies and others Stakeholders in the discharge of it’s mandate of securing our forests and safeguarding it for the betterment of the society
Alhaji Abdullahi Al-Ameen equally highlighted that a part from securing the forests for security reasons the Command is also working assiduously to safeguard the species of both Plants and Animal in view of their importance to the lives of the people especially on trado-medicinal impact and for wild live conservations.
He similarly called on the people to always respect the government policies of preserving and protecting forests and desist from illegal rampant felling of trees indiscriminately, maintaining that the Command is all out to ensure that forests both natural and artificials are fully preserved and secured for the benefits of humanity, pointing out that green leaves always plays a vital symbiotic roles for human existence as they produce the air Oxygen that human being needed for survival and as well human being exhale the air Carbon dioxide that plants needed for survival and existence, hence the need to maintain the ties of reciprocity
Alhaji Abdullahi Al-Ameen then commended the State Governor Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf for the provisions of millions of seedlings for tree planting which he described as a giant initiative for climate change and control in the State, as he appealed to Ministry of Environment to ensure the sustainability of the planted seedlings.
