Immigration officers has been charged to fish out any illegal immigrant in there domain to make kano state free from any crimes.
The called was made by the deputy controller of Nigerian immigration Alhaji Shu’aibu Abdullahi when he paid a familiarisation tour to Kano Municipal Local Government headquarter.
Alhaji shuaibu Abdullahi said the role of immigration officers is beyond boarder patrol but it’s important in the city to issue a resident permit and to collaborate with other security agencies to insure good security for the citizens.
On his part the Director personnel management Alhaji Rabiu Muhd Rabiu Gwarzo solicited with Nigerian immigration officers to work with the local government officials to achieve the set objectives.
He added that kano municipal being the melting pot of the state there is need for prompt investigation of illegal immigrant, adding that, the present administration will soon renovate all the offices of para military in order to operate smoothly.
