Hamza Sule Distributes Over N120 Million in Ramadan Support to Vulnerable Groups in Katsina

A frontline politician of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina State, Hon. Hamza Sule Faskari, has distributed Ramadan assistance worth over N120 million to vulnerable persons, widows, orphans, internally displaced persons (IDPs), youth groups, community development associations, and party members across the 11 Local Government Areas of the Funtua Zone.

The intervention included food items valued at N60 million, comprising 400 bags of rice, 500 bags of millet, and 300 bags of maize. In addition, cash assistance amounting to N62 million was disbursed to various beneficiaries to support them during the holy month of Ramadan.
Hon. Hamza Sule, who holds the traditional titles of Wamban Faskari and Sadaukin Kasar Hausa, pledged to sustain the annual intervention as part of his commitment to supporting his constituents and promoting social welfare.
The distribution event, held in Faskari town, attracted thousands of beneficiaries, political stakeholders, well-wishers, and youth groups. Addressing the gathering, Hon. Hamza stated that the gesture was aimed at providing relief and easing the economic burden faced by vulnerable individuals during Ramadan.
The Commissioner for Environment in Katsina State called on citizens to intensify their devotion, acts of worship, and prayers for sustained peace and prosperity in the state. He also urged continued prayers for leaders at all levels to enable them to deliver meaningful and sustainable development.
In his remarks, the APC Deputy Chairman in Katsina State, Hon. Bala Abu Musawa, described Hamza Sule as one of the party’s most committed chieftains, noting his consistent support for party members, women, orphans, and other vulnerable groups, particularly during Ramadan.
Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the gesture and called on other politicians and business leaders to emulate the initiative.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of Faskari Local Government, Alhaji Surajo Aliyu Daudawa, announced that the council would pay electricity bills for residents for one year as part of efforts to reduce the financial burden on households.
