Kano Pilgrims Board Launches Ramadan Radio Program for Hajj Induction

The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has launched a special radio programme aimed at assisting intending pilgrims to complete their Hajj induction course during the holy month of Ramadan.
The announcement was made by the Director General of the Board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle, during the official closing ceremony of the weekly Hajj Induction Course held at the School for Arabic Studies, Kano.
According to the Director General, the initiative is designed to make Hajj education more accessible by enabling registered pilgrims to follow induction lectures from the comfort of their homes through selected radio stations throughout Ramadan. He explained that the programme will offer detailed guidance on Hajj rites, travel procedures, health requirements, and spiritual preparation to ensure pilgrims are fully prepared for the sacred journey.

In a statement signed by Comrade Sulaiman Abdullahi Dederi the Board’s Public Relations officer stated that, Alhaji Matawalle assured the public of the Board’s commitment to ensuring a seamless Hajj operation, noting that all necessary arrangements have already been put in place to guarantee a smooth experience for pilgrims from their departure in Kano to their stay in the Holy Land.
He further emphasized that the Board remains dedicated to providing continuous support, proper orientation, and welfare services to ensure a successful and spiritually fulfilling Hajj exercise for all pilgrims from Kano State.
The Board therefore encouraged all intending pilgrims to actively participate in the radio induction programme and take full advantage of the opportunity to enhance their understanding of Hajj rites during the blessed month of Ramadan.
