Hajj 2026: Kano Pilgrims Board Sets February 8 Deadline for Data Capturing

The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced 8th February, 2026 as the final deadline for data capturing of intending pilgrims for the 2026 Hajj exercise.
The announcement was made by the Director General of the Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, through Sheikh Tijjani Sani Maihula, a member of the Board of Directors.

According to the Director General, the deadline is in strict compliance with a directive from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), which requires all states to complete data capturing for intending pilgrims on or before the stipulated date.
He made this disclosure during a joint meeting of Board staff and Local Government Hajj Centre officers held today at the Board’s headquarters.

Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa urged all intending pilgrims who have not yet submitted their international passports to do so before the deadline, stressing that no extension will be granted. He also called on Local Government Hajj Centre officers to intensify public awareness efforts to ensure full compliance.
