Gwarzo LG Chairman Strengthens Security, Empowers Vigilante Group, Presents Vehicle to NNPP Chairman

The Executive Chairman of Gwarzo Local Government Area, Dr. Mani Tsoho Gwarzo, has distributed motorcycles and uniforms to members of the Vigilante Group as part of deliberate efforts to enhance security and safeguard lives and property across the local government.

In a related development, the Chairman also distributed motorcycles to NNPP Ward Chairmen across the ten (10) wards of the local government and presented a brand-new vehicle to the NNPP Chairman of Gwarzo Local Government, in recognition of the party’s leadership and grassroots mobilization efforts.

Speaking at the event, the NNPP Leader in Gwarzo Local Government, Alhaji Abdulqadir Ahmad Getso, expressed profound appreciation to Dr. Mani Tsoho Gwarzo for the intervention, describing it as timely and impactful. He commended the empowerment of both the Vigilante operatives and NNPP ward leadership, urging party members to remain patient, assuring that the initiative marks the beginning of more interventions that will benefit others in due course.
In his address, Dr. Mani Tsoho Gwarzo expressed gratitude to the Governor of Kano State, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, for his unwavering commitment to addressing security challenges across the state, particularly in Gwarzo Local Government. He urged residents to intensify prayers for lasting peace and commended security personnel for their dedication and sacrifices in maintaining peace and stability in the area.

The Chairman further disclosed that the Kano State Government has approved the recruitment of 100 youths to support security efforts against kidnapping and other criminal activities. He also revealed that several development projects have been approved for execution in Gwarzo Local Government, assuring residents that tangible benefits will soon be witnessed across all the ten wards.
Also speaking, the District Head of Gwarzo, Alhaji Bello Abubakar Gwarzo, Sarkin Dawaki Mai Tuta of Kano, represented by Malam Kabiru Muhammad, advised Vigilante members to use the equipment responsibly and in the interest of public safety. He equally commended the Kano State Government for its proactive measures in addressing security challenges in the area.
On behalf of the beneficiaries, the Vigilante Commander of Gwarzo, Abdulqadir Samaila Gwarzo, thanked the Executive Chairman and pledged the continued commitment of the Vigilante Group to the protection of lives and property. Similarly, the NNPP Secretary of Gwarzo Local Government, Alhaji Samaila Hamza Kayyu, expressed appreciation to the Executive Chairman, the Governor of Kano State, and the Deputy Governor, Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo, for their support and approval of the initiative.
The event, held at the Gwarzo Local Government Secretariat, attracted NNPP supporters, the Vice Chairman, Secretary to the Local Government, Council Leader, elected and appointed councillors, journalists, security agencies, Hisbah officials, ward and village heads, and members of the public.
