According to the statement, the withdrawal and suspension came in response to the widespread public concern and outcry that followed the proposed establishment of the independent Hisbah group. The decision was also influenced by the timely interventions of critical stakeholders, particularly the Kano State Government, the Department of State Services (DSS), and the former Executive Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, all of whom emphasized the need to safeguard peace and stability in the state.

The statement further revealed that the meeting unanimously resolved to suspend the establishment of the proposed Independent Hisbah Fisabilillah to allow the Kano State Government to thoroughly and amicably address the issues surrounding the matter.
