Kano State Commissioner of Education Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa has felicitated with the Muslim ummah on the successful completion of Ramadan fast.
In a statement by the Director Public Enlightenment of the Ministry Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru, Umar Doguwa called on the muslim to imbibe the spirit of peace and mutual relationship for sustainable development in the state.
“ As we celebrate the Eid-El-Fitr after the successful completion of Ramadan worldwide, let us maintain peaceful coexistence to ensure development of our dear State. It is important that we continue to foster mutual respect, understanding and patriotism to complement efforts of the present administration of Abba Kabir Yusuf in actualizing it’s designed policies and programmes especially on education development.
* I want to on behalf of the ministry of education and it’s entire staff extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf as he witnesses his first Ramadan Celebration in office. Your leadership style displayed during the holy month has positively inspired hope, unity, and progress in Kano, the Muslim community and beyond ” he stated.
He further commended the Governor”s outstanding performance toward fostering harmony, understanding, and development in Kano, adding that….” we pray Allah to continue to guide and bless you with wisdom, strength, and compassion to serve the people of our dear state “.
The Commissioner enjoined Muslim Ummah across the state to reflect on the lessons learned during the fasting period, stressing that Ramadan had been a time of devotion and renewal of faith. It is a period Muslims around the world strive for spiritual purification, seeking closeness to Allah through fasting, prayer and acts of charity.
