Director General of Private Health Institution Management Agency Professor Salisu Ahmad Ibrahim said his agency will sign memorandum of understanding with maryam Abacha University.
The Director General stated this at the office of the Chairman and Founder Governing Council of the Maryam Abacha American University Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo.
He said the visit was aimed at establishing a solid relationship that will strengthen Health Care Delivery especially in a Private Sector in Kano, adding that, there are areas that where identified problems in regards to the operations of private facilities and need areas of collaboration involving medical waist management which can be dangerous to public.
The Director General further stressed that, traditional medicine practice to be in the mainstream of the health care system so that it can be improve in quality of care and in large scale at the commercial level, Thus there is need to upgrade the knowledge of practitioners through certificate or normal courses, this will boost health care delivery in the state.
In his remarks founder of the University Professor Adamu Gwarzo commended DG PHIMA and his entourage for the visit, emphasize that no society will develop without education especially scientific knowledge.
He therefore assured his redness to joint hands together with any meaningful organisation to move the state forward.
